BenQ announced a new handset today, the dual SIM model BenQ B502. The device comes with WCDMA/GSM connectivity and relies on Android 4.4.2 as the OS. The device has the Q Home UI on top of KitKat, by the way.

Its chipset is a 64 bit unit, a MediaTek MT6732 quad core processor, clocked at 1.5 GHz. The device integrates a 5 inch HD LCD display, a 5 megapixel selfie camera with CMOS sensor and a main 13 megapixel camera with LED flash. BenQ B502 offers WCDMA connectivity in the 2100 and 850 MHz bands and it’s a dual SIM unit with a normal SIM slot and a micro SIM one.

It has Bluetooth 3.0 support among the specs, too, plus WiFi, 1 GB of RAM and 4 GB of built in storage. The battery inside is a pretty modest 1800 mAh unit, based on Lithium-Ion technology. The design of this model is pretty plain and seems rather bulky.
