Pioneer has debuted a new LTE smartphone in China, the E82L model, that you can see below in white or gold. The device is pretty good looking and has a big size speaker. Once again we can’t guarantee or deny this is the same Pioneer company that makes audio gear, especially since its logo is similar to the brand we’re talking about.
The Pioneer E82L runs Android 4.4.x KitKat and uses a 64 bit MediaTek MT6732 processor, a quad core unit clocked at 1.5 GHz. The handset integrates a 5 inch IPS LCD 720p display, an 8 megapixel main camera, as well as a front 2 MP shooter, both with CMOS sensors. The same smartphone offers TD-LTE connectivity, as well as TD-SCDMA and dual SIM slots. One of them is a mini SIM and the other a micro SIM.
The newcomer brings Bluetooth 4.0 support, WiFi b/g/n and NFC Type A/B, plus it has 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of storage. Its battery pack offers a capacity of 2000 mAh and the product is expected to debut in China pretty soon. No price has been announced just yet.
