AT&T has just announced the availability of a redesigned BlackBerry Passport, exclusively in its retail chain, for zero dollars down on AT&T next. This model’s novelty is brought by its rounded edges, that are supposed to make this huge device comfier.
It was quite a long while ago that we reported the fact that 200k units of the device were sold, so I guess it may have passed 1 million by now. The BlackBerry Passport still comes with a large 4.5 inch square toucscreen and a physical QWERTY keyboard with touch support. The handset runs BlackBerry 10.3, has beefed up security and supports 4G LTE connectivity.
It integrates a 2.2 GHz quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, a 13 megapixel camera with optical image stabilization and 32 GB of storage. BlackBerry Assistant is also in the mix for voice and text command application, while the 3450 mAh battery under the hood should provide you with enough juice for two days of usage or so. The product can also be bought for no commitment at $649.
