ZTE has announced a new smartphone today, the ZTE G720C model, that stands out through a 64 bit CPU and LTE support. This model adopts a rectangular design, pretty narrow bezels and seems to apply a custom UI on top of Android.

The product will be sold on China Telecom, with TD-LTE and FDD-LTE support included. The handset runs Android 4.4.x KitKat and relies on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 64 bit processor, clocked at 1.5 GHz. It also has a 5 inch Full HD display, a front 5 megapixel camera with CMOS sensor, plus a 13 megapixel back camera. It comes with LTE Category 4 support, which means it’s ached to reach a max download speed of 150 Mbps and upload of 50 Mbps tops.

By the way, the ZTE G720C is a dual SIM model, that involves two micro SIM card slots. It offers Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity, WiFi, 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage. Its battery is a pretty modest 2300 mAh unit and the product will be available in two color versions. Expect to see it on the Chinese market soon.
