Today, Benq has announced a new dual-SIM smartphone device that comes with mid-range specs and a customized interface based on Android 4.4.4 KitKat that is called Q Home UI. The name of this new device is B50 and from what it seems, we’re dealing with a pretty attractive form factor.
Benq B50 offers a 5-inch IPS HD display (1.280 x 720 pixels), a quad-core Mediatek MT6732 processor clocked at 1.5 GHz, 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB space of internal storage, a microSD card slot up to 32 GB, and a 8-megapixel rear camera with autofocus and LED flash.
There’s also a 2-megapixel front-facing sensor, 4G LTE connectivity (Cat.4), WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, a microUSB v2.0 port, a 3.5-mm audio jack, GPS and a 2.200 mAh battery. Benq B50 weighs 155 grams and measures 143 mm in length, 72 mm in width and just 8.9 mm in thickness. This device is available in Taiwan for a $160 price tag.
