Lenovo A938t is a new LTE smartphone that got certified by the TENAA this week. The handset is pretty regular, with a rectangular design and 3 capacitive buttons below the display. It also has pretty slim bezels and a strangely integrated speaker on the side of the back camera.
The handset measures 8.7 mm in thickness, weighs a hefty 190 grams and offers quad band connectivity support. It packs a 6 inch IPS display with 720p resolution and relies on an octa core processor, clocked at 1.7 GHz, accompanied by 2 GB of RAM and Android 4.4.4 as the OS. The product has two cameras, a back shooter with 13 MP resolution and a 5 megapixel front camera.
There’s 8 GB of storage inside, Bluetooth and WiFi among the specs, as well as GPS. Since this is a phablet, it’s a pretty big deal for Lenovo, especially since companies are getting cautious about this format. Such phones are now eating into the profits of tablets and Lenovo wouldn’t want to do that to itself, right?
