A few days ago Xiaomi wowed everyone with a high end phablet, with a 5.7 inch diagonal dubbed Xiaomi Mi Note. The device comes in two versions, a standard one with Full HD display and a Quad HD one with 4 GB of RAM in the mix. Today the product gets a teardown from Chinese site IT168.

They are no iFixit and didn’t award it with a repairability score or tell us if there’s too much glue or too many screws. Anyway, you can check the device’s components in the shots integrated within this article. Notice how the main part of the motherboard is placed horizontally in the back camera area and not in the shape of an L flanking the battery, like on other phones.

Aside from having 3 GB of RAM in the standard version and 4 GB in the Pro one, the two models have different CPUs: Snapdragon 801 and Snapdragon 810 respectively. Other than those and the screen they keep the same specs, including the front Ultrapixel camera for selfies and the main 13 megapixel camera with OIS and dual LED flash.
