After a few days ago, when Oppo revealed through a teaser image that the U3 phablet is going to be soon announced, well today it was the day. The company’s new phablet device arrives with mid-range specs and a big 5.9-inch panel with Full HD resolution.
Oppo U3 offers an octa-core processor clocked at 1.7 GHz, 2 GB of RAM memory, 16 GB space of internal storage, a 13-megapixel rear camera sensor (Sony IMX214) that let us capture videos at 1080p@30fps or at 480p@120 fps, a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with LED flash.
We get AK4961 audio chip, a 3.000 mAh battery with VOOC quick charging technology, dual-SIM support, a microSD card slot, 4G LTE and Android operating system with ColorOS 2.0.1 custom interface applied on top. In order to help us to operate the phone with a single-hand, Oppo introduced a couple of features like a split-screen one, and gesture control.
Oppo U3 measures 156.8 mm in length, 81 mm in width and 8 mm in thickness. According to the Chinese press, this phone is now available on the market for a $560 price tag. What do you think about this new phablet device?
