One of the most famous apps on the iPhone is Shazam, available through the App Store. This nice piece of software uses a music identification service to provide the user with info about the song he’s heard on the bus or on the radio. Shazam is now available on BlackBerry handsets, too, for an even better music experience.
Using it is fairly basic: you hold the phone close to the music source and Shazam will find album info, lyrics, similar songs and various options linked to that tune. You’ll even get the chance to purchase the track and we wonder how far can this service expand to.
Perhaps to a cooperation with Last.fm?
