Through a post on the Chinese platform Weibo, Xiaomi’s co-founder, Lin Bin unveiled the fact that tomorrow on March 17 we’ll get to see a special edition of the Mi Note phablet. From what we found out, it seems that this new device will pack a metallic frame and dual-glass layers (front and back).
In the same time, Lin compared the Mi Note with the iPhone 6 Plus phablet, saying that their product is superior in both build quality and features. As you may know, Mi Note is currently available in a Pro version too that brings 4 GB of RAM memory and an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor.
Beside the high-end specs, the price can also be considered as a strength, as the standard variant with 3 GB RAM + Snapdragon 801 CPU is sold for $340. Tomorrow we’ll get to see how this new Mi Note looks like and what specs we have in the package.
