We already knew that Nokia was readying no less than 3 touchscreen devices for this Fall, but now we learned that the company hopes to launch a new Internet Tablet before Christmas. The device will be a MID with a 4.2 inch touchscreen on board and a hidden sliding keyboard.
There’s another device scheduled for launch, sometime in 2010, the Nautilus, a mobile computer with a very slim design, a touchscreen on board and a slide-out QWERTY keyboard. What’s neat is that you’ll be using a sensor to withdraw and extend the keyboard, that’s very thin and even incorporates keys that can rise up, for easier typing.
These two devices will signal the launch of a brand new series, following the famous “N Series” and this time the mobile computers will be based on Linux and not on Symbian.
