Today, the Chinese company Gionee announced a new smartphone device in India, more precisely the low-end Pioneer P4S. This smartphone is the succesor of the Pioneer P4 and it will be available soon in both online and physical Indian stores for just $123.

Among its specs we have a 4.5 inch display with 854 x 480 pixels resolution, a quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor clocked at 1.3 GHz, 1 GB of RAM memory and 8 GB space of internal storage that can be expanded up to 32 GB using a microSD card. There’s a 1.800 mAh battery in the package and dual-SIM slots with dual-standby support.

Other specs include a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, a 2-megapixel rear camera and the Android 4.4 KitKat operating system. On the connectivity side we’ll have WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, A-GPS and 3G. This smartphone will bring in the box a book-type case too.
