Xiaomi Mi 4i debuted today in India, where it still start selling officially as an exclusive product. The device took off in New Delhi, where Hugo Barra was on stage to announce it. The device is priced at $205 and has solid specs.
Mi 4i will come in 5 colour choices, with a wraparound polycarbonate case that looks quite hot. The device offers 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of storage and an octa core 64 bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor. There’s a 3120 mAh battery inside and at the back we find a 13 megapixel camera with F/2.0 aperture.
Upfront there’s a 5 MP selfie shooter and specs also include dual SIM slots and 4G LTE connectivity. This is also the fist smartphone from Xiaomi that runs Android 5.0 with MIUI 6 and it also brings the India-specific feature Visual IVR. This function allows users to select IVR options from a on screen menu to get the needed information.
The product will be available on April 30 in India.
