Last week we saw Huawei announcing 3 new handsets, the P8, P8 Lite and P8 Max and today these products debut in China. Huawei P8 was unveiled at the Shanghai Oriental Art Center during a big conference taking place yesterday.
Apparently, the phone will have two versions, one with a HiSilicon 935 CPU (octa core 64 bit) and 3 GB of RAM, plus 64 GB ROM, priced at $578 and one with a HiSilicon 930 processor, 3 GB of RAM and 16 GB storage. This model will cost less, $465. The P8 comes with dual SIM card slots, 4G connectivity and a microSD card slot. It will be available in gold, silver, black and gray.
Online sales of the models start today, apparently. The device also brings an unibody metal design, with a waistline of just 6.4 mm and a 5.2 inch Full HD display, too. The P8 runs Android 5.0 with the Emotion UI 3.1 on top, that brings knuckle gestures to the screen. There’s also an intelligent reminder for the daily schedule and intelligent alerts.
Huawei P8 also comes with a special noise canceling technology, an audio decoding chip and a main 13 megapixel camera, with the world’s first RGBW chip, as well as OIS. There’s an 8 MP selfie camera and a 2600 mAh battery in the mix too.
