In 2014, shortly after HTC One M8 was introduced on the market we also saw a polycarbonate variant of this flagship, and it seems that now in 2015 the idea is applied again. We’re talking about the HTC One M9+ phablet, device that arrives with a uni-body metallic body and fingerprint scanner.

According to TENAA, HTC is currently working on HTC One M9e, a plastic version of the M9+. The device in case also received certification from Chinese authorities. As you can see, its design is pretty similar to the metallic variant.

Inside this phone we’ll get a 5.2 inch Quad HD display, an octa-core processor clocked at 2.2 GHz, 3 GB of RAM memory and a 20-megapixel rear camera with dual-LED flash. An UltraPixel front-facing sensor, the BoomSound stereo speakers and the microSD card slot are present. Compared to the One M9+, we notice the lack of the DUO camera on the back.
