In spite of the fact that the official name of HTC Magic in the US was not chosen yet (or its release date), the handset has just been made available for pre-order in Europe, via Vodafone. The device goes for zero cash and it’s accompanied by a monthly plan of £30 or more.

This Android phone with Cupcake on board will get shipped starting May 5th and we remind you that this is the second official Android phone, a follow-up to the T-Mobile G1.

HTC Magic features HSDPA, GPS navigation, a 3.2 inch touchscreen and a 3.2 megapixel camera with autofocus. There’s also WiFi support and Vodafone Mobile Internet support on its specs list.
