Indian company Xolo has a new phone model, positioned as a rival for the Moto E. The newcomer is dubbed Xolo Prime and stands out through a price tag of less than $100 and Android Lollipop on board.
The device packs a 4.5 inch IPS display, with a 480 x 854 pixel resolution and it’s powered by a 1.3 GHz MediaTek MT6582M quad core CPU, as well as a Mali 400 MP GPU. On board we find 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of storage and a microSD card slot. The price tag is $89 and this device integrates a 5 megapixel back camera with autofocus and Full HD video recording, plus LED flash.
There’s a VGA front shooter, as well as a 1800 mAh battery inside. Xolo claims this battery delivers up to 20.8 hours of talk time on 2G networks and 10 hours on 3G. It also offers up to 500 hours of standby time on 2G and 400 hours on 3G. There are dual SIM slots here, 3G connectivity and the Xolo Prime comes in black, red, blue and gold.
