We recently showed you some information about a new HTC Desire phone, the HTC Desire E9sw and today another model from this series pops up. This time, it’s all because of a TENAA certification. The device could actually be a premiere for HTC, being its slimmest phone.
With a waistline of just 7.49 mm, this model is not hugely thin by current standards, but for HTC it is. HTC Desire WF5w is the name of the newcomer, that has been certified by the Chinese authority. It weighs 152.22 grams and does LTE, plus it includes a 5.5 inch AMOLED screen with a 720p resolution. Inside we find an octa core 1.5 GHz processor, as well as 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage. The CPU is most likely a MediaTek one.
The OS here is Android 5.0.2 and the camera combo involves a 13 megapixel shooter at the back and possibly one at the front, unless TENAA is wrong. A microSD card slot and a design that feels very much in line with the Desire 8xx series rounds up the specs list.
