ASUS launched a new selfie phone at Computex 2015, a model that sports a 13 megapixel front camera, with the same dual tone flash setup as its main 13 MP shooter. Both cameras have Toshiba sensors and this model has pretty much the same specs as the ZenFone 2.

The design is also very similar, so similar you may confuse the two models, if not for the varied color choice, that includes pink, white and green. The new phone brings a CPU change from the ZenFone 2, opting for a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 octa core 64 bit unit, with Adreno 405 GPU. There’s a 5.5 inch Full HD IPS LCD screen upfront, 4G LTE support and a front facing 13 megapixel camera with F/2.2 aperture is offered here, with a wide angle lens for wider selfies.

The main camera has F/2.0 aperture and also brings laser autofocus. The device runs Android 5.0 Lollipop and comes with 2 or 4 GB of RAM, as well as up to 64 GB of storage. The volume buttons are placed at the back here and there’s a concentric pattern below the capacitive buttons. It’s very likely that the front camera also has a laser detection autofocus mechanism, since there’s something extra to the right of the cam.

The product will debut in 7 color choices, with a yet unknown price. It also has an optional Swing attachment, that works like a mini selfie stick or kickstand.
