The Meizu MX5 has leaked again, without revealing anything out of the ordinary this time. The new model comes right after the announcement of the fresh Meizu M2 and today we get to see its back in the hands on picture below. We’ve seen a beautiful gallery of it here a while ago.
The rounded top and bottom are still here, as well as the square camera hole and oval flash hole below. I’ll remind you the Meizu MX4 Pro has been canned, so Meizu has a great responsability to make things right here. That model was killed because MediaTek entered a very solid partnership with Meizu and the MX4 Pro was an Exynos model, so MediaTek couldn’t have that.
Anyway, the MX5 is expected to come on June 30th and it will still keep the oval physical Home button, with built in fingerprint scanner. The device is expected to adopt an octa core MediaTek MT6795 processor, a 20 MP back camera with laser autofocus, as well as a 5.5 inch Full HD screen with narrow bezels. 3 GB of RAM and a front 5 MP camera should be here too.
