At the end of February we found out that Japanese-based OEM Freetel prepares one of its first Windows mobile device from its portfolio, and today we get to see this new device that doesn’t arrives alone. Beside this entry-level one called Katana 01, we also have the Katana 02, a mid-range phone that runs Windows 10 Mobile operating system.
In terms of specs, Katana 01 offers a 4.5 inch IPS LCD display (854 x 480 pixels), a quad-core processor, a rear camera with dual-LED flash and a 1.700 mAh battery. This phone will be available in 5 different color variants like purple, blue, silver, black and yellow. Freetel Katana 01 will cost you around $160.
Next we have the Katana 02, a 5-inch device that offers a 1280 x 720 pixels resolution, a quad-core processor and a 2.600 mAh battery. Unfortunately, the rest of the specs are still missing from the picture. This advanced variant will be sold for $240.
Beside this phones, Freetel also unveiled two Android 5.0 devices. One of them is Samurai Miyabi, device that comes with a 5-inch HD IPS display, quad-core CPU, 2 GB of RAM memory and 32 GB space of internal storage. There’s Bluetooth 4.0, 4G LTE, a 2.200 mAh battery and a 13-megapixel rear camera. The price tag is set at $160.
The other one Android device is called Samurai Kiwami, and for the moment all we get to know is that we get Lollipop inside. A picture with this phone can be found below. What do you think about Freetel offer for this summer?
