Videocon Mobile Phones has launched a new handset in India, one that looks like a solid model, with midrange specs. As usual, the price is very appealing, placed somewhere below $100.
The newcomer is called the Videocon Z51 Nova+ and retails for $91. It features a 5 inch 854 x 480 pixel display and runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat. Inside we find a quad core 1.2 GHz processor, as well as 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of storage. This model also gets a microSD card slot, with support for an extra 32 GB of storage. This handset is a version of the Z51 Nova, that debuted last month.
At its back we find an 8 megapixel camera with LED flash, while upfront rests a 5 megapixel selfie shooter. A 2000 mAh battery is also here, plus dual SIM slots. The phone offers 90 days of free access to V-Safe and V-Secure antivirus apps.
