Oppo has yet another phone ready to come to the market, the A51 model, that’s shown below and has finally received a price tag. The device will cost $273, which is quite a bit for a mere 720p midrange handset.
I mean, Xiaomi is seriously undercutting this price tag with a few models. Anyway, the Oppo A51 measures 7.65 mm in thickness, weighs 160 grams and it’s said to use a dual metal internal structure for extra resilience. The phone adopts a glass back and front and comes with a quad core 64 bit processor, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 410, together with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage.
Upfront we find a 5 inch 720p screen, while inside there’s a microSD card slot and we’ve got an 8 megapixel back camera and a front 4 MP shooter. Special selfie features are included, like 11 colored filters and a few other enhancements. This model has dual SIM card slots, 4G connectivity and a 2420 mAh battery. It runs Android 5.1 with the Color OS 2.1 experience on top.
