Huawei is going to debut its P8 Max phablet and the MediaPad M2 8.0 phone/tablet this month, on September 25th, it appears. The debut happens in Japan for these models, with pretty appealing prices.

Huawei P8 Max packs a 6.8 inch Full HD IPS LCD screen, a 13 megapixel main camera with OIS and a 5 MP selfie camera too. Inside there’s an octa core Kirin 935 processor and a 4360 mAh battery, plus 3 GB RAM and 32 GB of storage. We’ve also got a microSD card slot on board, Android 5.1 and all of that is stuffed in a 6.8 mm thick body. The product will cost $501.

Then comes the MediaPad M2 8.0, an 8 inch UXGA tablet with a full metal body and a thickness of 7.8 mm. This model also gets Harman Kardon speakers, a 4800 mAh battery and a Hisilicon Kirin 930 chipset, as well as 2 or 3 GB of RAM. 16 or 32 GB of storage are included here and an 8 megapixel back camera. The price starts at $333 for this model, in the 16 GB version.
