Since mobile phones are getting more and more popular, it was only a matter of time till explicit content started reaching the hands and eyes of teens, through a phenomenon called “sexting”. I’m talking about the way some children send sexually suggestive photos on their cell phones.

This issue is more serious than one might think and psychologists have already started advising parents to have a talk with their kids before buying them a cellphone. It is also advised to get the young ones handsets without cameras and specially leave the phone out of the room at night, the time when most sexting takes place.

For more tech savvy parents, there’s always the cellphone safety software My Mobile Watchdog, allowing parents to monitor the texts and pics send and received by their offsprings.
