Although it may seem that HTC wanted to be the first company to launch a Windows Mobile 6.5 device on the market, we’re dealing with a clone of HTC Touch Viva, that runs the new OS. Known as Touch Viva Shanzai Flagship, the device ships with Windows Mobile 6.5 and it’s the real operating system we’re talking about, this time.

The clone features a 2.8 inch (240 x 320 pixels) display, a 3.2 megapixel camera and it supports WiFi and EDGE. There’s also a large battery on board, capable of lasting about 10 days in standby mode and the device also supports quadband GSM. You can get this WM 6.5 premiere for $162, an excellent price showing you just how much license fees cost.

This handset is based on the Huawei HiSilicon K3 platform, using a 460 MHz CPU and we wonder if there’s a 3.5mm audio jack also included on the specs list…
