The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium remains the only mainstream 4K display phone out there and today its dual SIM version got certified by the FCC. The Xperia Z5 Premium Dual keeps its 4K display in this iteration and is codename is E6883.
The handset has been certified for FDD-LTE and TD-LTE support, as it passed through the FCC on October 26th. It also comes with Bluetooth and WiFi support, plus NFC and got certified in the WiFi bands 5.x GHz and 2.4 GHz. The OS is still Android 5.1.1 and the handset keeps the much cooler version 2.1 of the Snapdragon 810 processor. Upfront we’ve got the 5.5 inch 3840 x 2160 pixel LCD display, plus a 5.1 MP selfie shooter.
At the back there’s a 23 MP camera with CMOS sensor and finally I should mention that both SIM slots are of the nano SIM kind. 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage round up the specs list. Sony Xperia Z5 Premium Dual has a dust proof and waterproof case, in conformity with the IPX5/IPX8 standards. The handset comes in black, chrome and 3 shades of gold, with a fingerprint scanner integrated within its Power button.
