I remember that one year ago a listing of most prominent tablet makers from China included Ramos, placed quite high at the top. Now the company got into phone making this year, with the MOS 1 handset and recently also with the big MOS1 Max phablet. The latter has just been certified by TENAA.

Priced at $440 last I heard, this device stood out through its beefy 6010 mAh battery and it’s said to go on sale on November 13th, which is actually on a Friday, so not the luckiest day in the calendar. Anyway, this handset measures 8.1 mm in thickness and weighs 230 grams, with this hefty weight being justified by the big 6.44 inch diagonal. It also has a 2.5D glass panel, in case you’re wondering.

The phablet offers a Full HD resolution on an IPS panel, comes in gold, pink, gray and silver and brings LTE support. Certification confirms its octa core 1.3 GHz processor, 2 GB of RAM and Android 5.1, plus the 32 GB of storage, main 13 MP camera and front 8 MP shooter. HiFi acoustics are also here and Android is customized with something called MOUI 2.0.
