Microsoft debuted today two unexpected products and when saying that I mean they’re not the typical releases you’d see from the Redmond giant. These are two feature phones, that seem focused on selfies and they’re called Nokia 230 and 230 Dual SIM.
These models stand out through their front 2 megapixel cameras with LED flash. The devices have premium looks, with polycarbonate frames and sand-blasted aluminum back covers. Nokia 230 measures 10.9 mm in thickness, weighs 91.8 grams and packs a 2.8 inch 320 x 240 pixel display, plus 2G connectivity, a microSD card slot with support for 32 GB cards and a 1200 mAh battery.
The battery is supposed to offer up to 21 hours of talk time or 27 days of standby in the single SIM version or up to 28 days in the dual SIM version. On board we find preinstalled Opera Mini, Bing Search, MSN Weather and aside from the front camera there’s also a 2 MP main camera with LED flash too. One free Gameloft game is promised here for every month of the year.
Nokia 230 and 230 Dual SIM come in black and white and they’re priced at around $55. They will debut in India, Asia and Middle East in December and in the rest of the world in 2016.
