Huawei seems to be churning out more and more midrange handsets and phablets than anytime and today we uncovered a new one, dubbed Huawei KIW-AL20. This model is a 5.5 inch phablet that was recently certified by TENAA.
The device has a fingerprint scanner at the back and adopts the typical rectangular facade and rounded back. This is no slug, since it’s said to be sporting a 1.5 GHz octa core CPU, that may well be the Kirin 950. The model runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, packs 3 GB of RAM and also brings 32 GB of storage, without any mention of a microSD card slot.
It packs a 13 megapixel main camera, plus a 5 MP front shooter. The TENAA listing also mentions a waistline of 8.15 mm and a weight of 158 grams. Notice the metal build here and the fingerprint scanner below the camera. 4G LTE should be here too and the Huawei KIW-AL20 is expected to come in gold, gray and silver. It could end up as the Huawei Honor 7 Plus or a higher end Honor 5X.
