LeTV has grown a lot over the past year, gaining international recognition for its quality smartphones and now they’re expanding. With the expansion to India, the company also announced a rebranding, from LeTV to LeEco, short for Le Ecosystems.

The smartphones Le 1S and Le Max are going to come to India soon, after the first one of them was unveiled in China in October last year. It was the first handset to feature a mirror fingerprint scanner and the phone also has a very good looking metal chassis. All of that is available on a budget package. The phone comes with a 5.5 inch Full HD screen and runs Android Lollipop with a custom skin on top called eui.

Inside there’s a MediaTek Helio X10 processor, together with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage. The phone has a 13 megapixel main camera with PDAF and LED flash, plus a 3000 mAh battery. Meanwhile, Le Max is also known as the “Superphone” and offers a metal shell, as well as a huge 6.33 inch Quad HD screen. Inside there’s the Snapdragon 810 CPU, 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage.

A 21 megapixel camera with OIS is present, plus a 4 Ultrapixel selfie shooter. HiFi Sound and a 3500 mAh battery. LeEco Le Max costs $485, while the Le 1S goes for $161.
