Polaroid has a new smartphone ready to debut in USA, as it’s been recently certified by the FCC. Unveiled just a few days ago at CES, with the Polaroid Snap, this device has a brightly pink colored case and a pretty generous back camera.

Polaroid Power S60L is a Full HD 6 inch phablet, with an octa core processor, and 3 GB of RAM. It also has 32 GB of storage and a 13 megapixel back camera, plus an 8 megapixel selfie shooter. The battery is a 3000 mAh unit and last I heard Polaroid was bundling an 8000 mAh power bank with the device. Android Lollipop is the OS of choice, with Marshmallow promised for later arrival.

The smartphone costs $250 and it passed certification for Bluetooth and WiFi, the latter only in the 2.4 GHz band, not the 5 GHz one. Manufactured in China, I’m guessing that the Power model must have some special camera software to be worthy of its brand.
