Panasonic announced today a new handset, the Panasonic P66 Mega, a 3G model that just debuted in India, priced at just $117. It’s very rare that we see a phone without 4G LTE today, but this is the case here.

Panasonic P66 Mega

This model has WCDMA/GSM connectivity and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop, plus it integrates a quad core 1.3 GHz processor. Upfront we find a 5 inch 720p IPS LCD display and other specs include a 5 megapixel selfie cam, plus an 8 megapixel main shooter. This is a dual SIM phone, with Bluetooth 4.0 support and WiFi 802.11 b/g/n.

Its storage capacity is 16 GB and we also get 2 GB of RAM, a 3200 mAh battery. Panasonic P66 Mega is available in rose gold, electric blue and russet brown and it’s not that bad looking, to be honest. It’s top and bottom chin remind me of earlier generations of Lumias.
