We’re about a week away from the unveiling of the Xiaomi Mi5 flagship and while the leaks have quieted down, it’s time for them to pick up again, as shown below. Microblogging user Mobiholicast has unveiled a series of shots of this device’s chassis.
Apparently, the images come straight out of Foxconn and we get to see different angles of the Mi5’s case. The source claims that this model is going to basically be a smaller version of a Xiaomi Note unit, with a fingerprint scanner integrated within the Home button. The handset looks pretty slim and may come with a 2.5D screen panel.
We also see it’s gently curved towards the bottom and top, but that may only be applied before the screen panel gets fitted on board. Last I heard, the Xiaomi Mi4 was coming with a 5.2 inch Full HD screen, a Snapdragon 820 chipset, 16 megapixel camera and 3000 mAh battery. An USB Type C port may also be included here.
