It was only a matter of time till someone got hold of a Samsung Galaxy S7 unit to make a hands on video such as the one below, especially after the device was on sale in Dubai. With MWC 2016 around the corner, we also get some last minute hands on pics and confirmations regarding the device’s features.
The source of the video and pictures claims that the handset will run Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box and it’ll have IP68/67 rating, with protection against water and dust. It’ll carry a 2800 mAh battery, a microSD card slot and 12 MP camera with bigger pixels, with a system that’s similar to the one of the Nexus 6P and Nexus 5X.
The device doesn’t have an USB Type C port and its microSD card slot is stored on the same tray as the SIM one. The glass back and front seem to be fingerprint magnets, judging from the pictures, while the UI seen in the video seems to feature more compact icons and a flatter UI approach. Flipboard integration is still in the mix and the back really does have curved edges.
