We’ve just reviewed the Allview X3 Soul Mini and now its bigger brother has arrived, the Allview X3 Soul. If this model feels familiar, that’s why because it should, since it’s the locally integrated version of the Gionee S6. That unit debuted last November and it’s priced at $300 now.

Inside the box we find the manual, USB cable, charger, headphones, SIM pin, USB OTG cable and screen protection. This phone comes in black or gold and it’s a dual SIM 4G unit, a midranger with high end tendencies. The interesting aspect is that the phone is made 89% of metal and measures just 6.9 mm in thickness. It weighs 147.6 grams and brings a 5.5 inch AMOLED 720p display, as well as an octa core 64 bit MediaTek processor, clocked at 1.3 GHz.

There’s an USB Type C port at its bottom and the battery inside is a 3150 mAh unit.
