Canon DSLR owners, rejoice! There’s a new iPhone app for you, called DSLR Remote, that allows you to trigger your camera’s shutter and adjust its setting remotely. You can also view the photos that you camera has taken.

However, there’s a catch: your camera must be connected to a PC, in order for the app to work, but still this is a start. We also found out that support for Nikon DSLR cameras is coming and the app works with Live View, making your camera a spying device, if you want one.

DSLR Remote is available at the App Store in 2 version: Lite, for $2 and Pro for $10. The latter will give you access to more options and Live View.
