In January this year the Chinese company Coolpad announced the launch of a new smartphone device, product called Max. As you might guess, we’re dealing with a phablet here, one that looks pretty amazing even if we notice some elements borrowed form other devices. It looks like the phone will go on sale soon, detail revealed by a first unboxing from China.
Thereby, we can take a look on several pictures with the phone, one that arrives in a pretty interesting package compared to other products. From the design point of view, this phablet looks a lot like iPhone 6s Plus, but it also borrows some design elements from Huawei’s latest phones. We have an uni-body metallic case with a 6.9 mm thickness, a front-facing panel with 2.5D glass on top and some slim bezels around the screen.
As for the specs, Coolpad Max offers a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS display (1920 x 1080 pixels), an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor clocked at 1.5 GHz and a microSD card slot. We’re getting 3 GB of RAM memory, 16 or 32 GB space of internal storage and a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash.
There’s 4G LTE connectivity, and for the selfie lovers out there – a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. A 2800 mAh battery is also on board, as well as a fingerprint scanner placed on the back. The 16 GB variant of this phone will be priced at $348, while the 32 GB model will cost you $379.
