Even if Lenovo just announced the ZUK Z2 smartphone, the Indian market is getting ready to receive the ZUK Z1 handset instead. In just a few days, Lenovo will hold a special press event where the 5.5 inch phablet will be officially announced, phone that arrives with Cyanogen OS 12.1 on board – ROM that is no longer exclusive to Micromax products.
This smartphone brings a 5.5 inch Full HD display, 3 GB of RAM memory and a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor clocked at 2.5 GHz. Its hardware package contains 64 GB of internal storage (without microSD card support), and a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone flash and optical image stabilization.
Inside we get a 4100 mAh battery, unit that benefits of the Quick Charge technology. It looks like that phone will be sold in India for a $275 price tag, a pretty attractive price while taking into consideration its hardware specs. How well this device will be sold, it remains to see.
