The Samsung Galaxy A 2016 series keeps some of the elements of the Galaxy S6 and gives them to the customers in a more affordable package. We’ve already reviewed the Galaxy A5 (2016) and Galaxy A7 (2016), so it’s time for the Galaxy A3 (2016) now. It gets unboxed below and it’s priced at $363.
This device debuted in December 2015 and inside the box we find a charger, USB cable, headphones, manual and metal key. The smartphone measures 7.3 mm in thickness and comes with a wide metal frame and a dual glass panel. It weighs 132 grams and packs a 4.7 inch display with a HD resolution and a Super AMOLED panel.
Inside there’s an Exynos 7578 CPU, or Snapdragon 410 chipset, plus 1.5 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage. The latest Galaxy A3 brings a 13 megapixel camera, but without the OIS of the bigger units. It also packs a 5 MP selfie shooter and a 2300 mAh battery. Samsung offers up this handset in black, white, gold or pink and it feels excellent in the user’s hand, although rather prone to smudges.
We’ll be back ASAP with the review and in the meantime you can learn the device’s latest price here.
