Xiaomi Mi Max debuted in April as a massive phablet with 3 GB of RAM and some pretty solid specs. Now we get wind of a more affordable version, that has 2 GB of RAM. That one is expected to cost around $198.
Keep in mind that a massive marketing campaign and the nifty features on board made the device a hit among buyers. It was already available with 3 or 4 GB of RAM and now with 2 GB. At least that’s according to the leaked screenshot above, that also reveals there are 16 GB of storage inside. The cheapest Mi Max is priced at $230 right now, so the 2 GB RAM unit should cost less.
The rest of the specs of the lesser RAM version should remain the same, including a 4850 mAh battery, a slim 7.5 mm body and a 16 megapixel back camera. There’s also a 5 MP selfie shooter, a Snapdragon 650 CPU and a microSD card slot. The product is not yet listed on Mi.com, but it’ll surely pop up soon.
