Huawei Honor 8 was previously rumored for a July 5th debut and today that date gets more realistic, as the device receives the teaser below. This model follows the excellent Honor 7 and after the break you can learn more about it.

The teaser calls the newcomer “Beauty out of the ordinary”, which lines up with what we’ve previously heard, as the device is said to be very good looking. Huawei also used a celebrity for the teaser and I have to admit I don’t know the guy, but he’s probably a famous basketball player, or maybe a popstar posing as a sportsman.

Huawei Honor 8 is said to adopt a double glass design and a metal frame, that will make it look appealing. The screen bezels are said to be slim and the specs include an octa core Kirin 955 processor, 4 GB of RAM and 3 versions of storage: 32 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB. The screen is a 5.2 incher with Full HD resolution and just like the Huawei P9 and Honor V8, this model will come with a dual 12 MP back camera.

An infrared port, USB Type C port and 3200 mAh battery will also make the cut. A fingerprint scanner is expected and a starting price of $308. That goes up to $380 in a high end version with 128 GB, 4 GB RAM and a Quad HD screen.
