Huawei’s Honor brand is ready to receive a new model, but we’re not talking about the Honor 8, that’s coming on August 16th. No, we’re dealing with another newcomer from the Honor series, Huawei Honor Note 8, that just got detailed today.
We remind you that on August 16th Huawei is going to launch the new Honor 8 handset in San Francisco, a bit of an upgrade and follow up to the Honor 5X. It’s going to be a pretty powerful model with a 5.2 inch display, an octa core 2.3 GHz chip and up to 4 GB of RAM, plus up to 64 GB of storage. There will also be a fingerprint scanner in the mix and Android 6.0 Marshmallow as the OS.
Back to the actual novelty, Honor 8 Note is going to be launched in Beijing on August 1st and there’s no info if it’ll be available outside of China or not. This model is a 6.6 incher with a 2K resolution and it’s going to have 4 GB of RAM and an octa core chipset clocked at 2.5 GHz inside. A fingerprint scanner will also be included, plus a 13 MP back camera and an 8 MP front shooter.
The two sound pretty similar, in spite of the diagonal difference.
