Now that there are quite a few 6 GB RAM phones, the diversification will come from the type of RAM. For example, the Elephone P20 is going to come with 6 GB of dual channel RAM and specs get even more solid than that.
The dual channel memory is quite a bit faster than the normal single channel memory. We are told to expect buttery smooth multitasking, hopefully better than the one of the OnePlus 3. This device has a CPU clocked at up to 1.86 GHz, a MediaTek Helio P20, that helps it run Android 6.0 Marshmallow. This model has a 5.5 inch Full HD screen, a metal body and a 12 megapixel rear camera with F/1.7 aperture.
Elephone P20 also has an interesting flash placement, with two LEDs flanking the camera. There’s a fingerprint scanner at the back and we’ve got a 2.5D glass panel upfront, truly with no edge to be seen. An 8 MP front camera and 32 GB of storage are also here. Apparently you should be able to get the phone from here for $279.
