Chinese phone maker UMi recently detailed its UMi Max handset, focusing especially on the design, that involves a metal body and a great deal of symmetry. This model has a curved back and a glowing Home button.
Its antenna lines are discrete and the metal body has a 3 stage design, while the camera area and fingerprint scanner are symmetrical at the back. UMi Max is available in two color choices: Champagne Gold and Elegant Gray and it comes with an unibody metal chassis, that’s quite slim. The phone has a MediaTek Helio P10 inside and although it comes with Android 6.0 Marshmallow preinstalled, it has been confirmed as “ready for Android 7 Nougat”.
Back to the design for a bit, since that’s the core of the UMi product, the Max is made using 100 processes of CNC cutting, PBT nano molding and 360 degree polishing. It also uses 3D blasting and anodizing to get the beautiful case shown here. UMi Max also brings a Sharp screen panel and a Panasonic 13 megapixel back camera.
