The LG X series is about to expand with a new model, dubbed LG X Fast. It’s going to debut officially in Taiwan on August 30 2016, according to media reports. We’ve already got the X Style, X Power, X mach, X Max, X5 and X Skin, so the series has grown a lot.
The LG X Fast smartphone is said to feature a metal frame, while the rest of the body will be made of polycarbonate. It’ll bring a 5.5 inch Quad HD screen, plus 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage. Making it tick is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 chipset, a hexa core unit also found on the LG G4 last year. Android Marshmallow is the OS choice, with the latest LG custom UI on top.
At the back there’s a 12.3 megapixel camera with PDAF and we’ve got an 8 MP front snapper, too. This is a dual SIM model, with 4G LTE support and a 3000 mAh removable battery. LG X Fast will measure 8.9 mm in thickness and weigh 159 grams. It has LTE Category 9 support and it will be available in black or white, with a fingerprint scanner at the back.
