The Moto G4 is the very first fruit of Motorola’s integration into Lenovo we get to test and a very solid midranger, that’s ready to take on the Huawei P9 Lite and LG Nexus 5X. We’ve taken it out of the box for you below and you should know that it’s priced at $200.

This device is as basic as it gets, accessory-wise, or at least the unit we played with does. It only comes bundled with a charger, that integrates its USB cable and we also get the manual and that’s it. No headphones, extra USB cable or metal key. You can prop open the back cover of the device and have a look at its dual micro SIM card slots and microSD.

You can’t remove the 3000 mAh battery, keep that in mind. This phone is quite compact, at 7.9 mm in thickness and weighing 155 grams, the same measurements of the Moto G4 Plus by the way. We get a 5.5 inch Full HD screen here, plus 2 GB of RAM and a Snapdragon 617 processor, as well as a 13 megapixel back camera and a 5 MP front shooter.

There’s 16 GB of storage on board and one of the cleanest Androids I’ve seen, Marshmallow with almost zero bloatware. The device is able to use a tech called Turbopower to get charged up for 6 hours of usage after 15 minutes. Quite the interesting figure and we’ll be back with a full review soon. Updated price is here.
