Huawei Mate 9 was rumored for a little while to be ready to debut at IFA 2016 and then rumors talked about a debut in October or November. Now there’s talk of a debut in December and the same specs as before have come up, including dual 20 megapixel cameras.
The device is said to have a HiSilicon Kirin 960 processor inside, made using the 16 nm process and then there’s also the setup of dual 20 megapixel cameras, expected to bring forth Leica tech. The cam will have OIS, as well as color and black and white mode. A teaser for the phone also appeared on Weibo, which is shown above.
Don’t get too excited as the device in the shot is actually the Mate 8. Analyst Pan Jiutang also confirmed the December debut of the Kirin 960 powered phone ever since April, so we tend to believe him and the theory. We expect a large quantity of RAM, something like 6 GB even and a fingerprint scanner with gesture support. A Force Touch feature may also make the cut on maybe a Quad HD screen.
