Intel has just announced that it’ll supply chips for Nokia’s phones, as the two companies have signed a deal and partnership on this market. We remind you that Intel already has a deal with LG Electronics and it supplies processors for its mobile Internet devices.
This comes as a challenge towards Texas Instruments for the number one mobile device CPU maker. Intel tried to get on the mobile market 3 years ago, but failed miserably, however, things are different now, with Atom around and so much promise from this platform.
Let’s see what else gets announced by Intel in its upcoming conference call, taking place today.
