After the superb Corner R concept phone, Sharp came back to Earth this week, with a more realistic design. This model is the freshly launched Sharp Aquos Xx3 Mini , that runs Android 7.0 Nougat and brings a 4.7 inch screen.
Strange camera placement aside, this model is a 4.7 incher with a Full HD resolution, one that has a bit of waiting to do, since it’ll only be sold from February next year. Among its features we find a Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor, as well as 3 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage. There’s a microSD card slot in the mix, a 21 megapixel main camera and a front 8 MP shooter.
Sharp included here a generous 2400 mAh battery (for this format it’s generous), plus VoLTE and WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac. Certified for dust and water resilience, the smartphone measures 8.6 mm in thickness and weighs 135 grams. It’ll be available in white, black, pink, yellow or blue. I expect a pricing of around $300, although nothing is known.
